No. Blocking is permanent and applies in both directions. A blocked person is excluded from your matching pool entirely, so you cannot be paired with them again on any device or in any mode.

Not by default. Text conversations are relayed and then discarded, and transcripts are not kept on our side. The only exception is a chat you deliberately save to your own account, which you can delete at any time.

Yes. You are matched as an anonymous stranger — no name, no photo and no profile is shown to the other person unless you choose to share something yourself. We hold the minimum needed to keep the service moderated and safe.

No. Advertisers never receive your chat content or personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles from what you say. Ads on the site are display advertising that is separate from the chat.

No. Voice and video run peer-to-peer over WebRTC and are not recorded or stored. Nothing is captured unless you explicitly record a voice note to send, and that note is delivered rather than archived.
